SUBTITLE DESK

Privacy policy

Updated October 23, 2026

Your subtitle files stay on your device

Subtitle text you paste and files you open are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to our server or sent to a transcription or conversion service. The converter does not save a history. Closing or reloading the page clears the current editor contents.

Hosting and technical information

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare receives information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. This is separate from your subtitle content, which stays in your browser.

Cookies, analytics and storage

The site currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies and includes no analytics scripts. The converter does not use local storage or an account database. Downloaded files are saved only when you choose to download them.

Future advertising

We plan to display third-party advertising in the future. No third-party ads are currently installed. If advertising is added, we will update this policy to identify the providers, describe their data use and provide any required privacy choices before their scripts run.

Contact messages

If you contact us by email, your address and message are processed by our email providers so we can read and reply. Do not send sensitive subtitle files by email. Our current contact options are listed on the contact page.

Changes and questions

We will update this page when the site's data practices change. For privacy questions, please use the contact page.
